CBSE Asks Board Examinees To Carry Sanitizers & Masks To Exam Centres

New Delhi:  The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced that the remaining board exams for Classes X and XII will be held between July 1 and 15.

Issuing health guidelines for the examinees, the Board stated that they will have to carry their own sanitizer bottles and wear face masks during the exams.

CBSE Controller of Examination Sanyam Bhardwaj said, “Parents will have to ensure their ward is not sick and candidates will have to strictly follow physical-distancing norms.”

As per the date sheet for Class X students, the remaining exams will be staggered on four dates, starting July 1.

The first paper will be of Social Science and the second paper, Science. Exams will be conducted for both courses of Hindi on July 10 and for both courses of English on July 15.

As per the date sheet of Class XII, the Home Science exam will be conducted on July 1, and both courses of Hindi on July 2. Business Studies exam will be held on July 9, Biotechnology on July 10, and Geography on July 11.

The Board will not be conducting examinations for students who had registered for the exams from abroad.
