CBSE Board Exams 2020 Pass Criteria Released; Know Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a communication ahead of releasing the 2020 board exam schedule. The communication has detailed the pass percentage in both class X and class XII examination.

Important points to note:
1. A student of class XII has to score a minimum of 33 per cent each in practicals, theory and project work and 33 per cent in aggregate in each subject.

2. Likewise, a student of class X has to obtain overall 33 per cent in both theory and practical.

3. “For subjects having practical or project component, the same shall be examined by an external examiner. The examiner will be appointed by CBSE. However, for subject NCC, the practical examination at Class XII will be conducted by the examiner appointed by Directorate of NCC. In case of Class-X, as there is internal assessment, no external examiner will be appointed by CBSE/Directorate of NCC,” the communication said.

4. The practical, project and internal assessment will be done by the schools.
