Bhubaneswar: The Dhenakanal district administration has imposed Section 144 at Biribolei Janata Government High School under Parjang police limits to stop malpractice during the ongoing matric examination.

Kankadahada Block Education Officer (BEO), Harihar Dehury said the district administration is making all the efforts for smooth conduct of the examination. “Adequate security personnel will be deployed in the school during the remaining exams, which will be held in the presence of cops and magistrate,” he added.

On Sunday, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash had said: “Parents supplying copy is unacceptable and the administration is taking adequate steps in this regard.”

Meanwhile, Secretary of Board Of Secondary Education (BSE), Srikant Kumar Tarai has written to Cuttack DCP Akhileshvar Singh and Cuttack (Rural) SP R.B. Panigrahi for deployment of additional forces at five schools in Cuttack district.
