Mother’s Day: EdTech Firm Offers Scholarship To Moms For Career-Related Courses

New Delhi: Great Learning, an ed-tech company for professional education, has decided to offer up to 80 per cent scholarships to selected mothers who decide to restart their career by enrolling in programs like Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Digital Marketing.

Under its initiative #HerFreshStart, the company is encouraging the mothers who are willing to join the corporate world after a gap.

Interested people can nominate mothers for the program between May 7 and 10 via Great Learning’s social media channels on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. After the nomination, the mothers can submit their Statement of Purpose (SOP), introducing their background and why they deserve the scholarship.

“Up-skilling could be a game-changer for new moms, with opportunities continuing to open up in fields like Analytics, AI, Digital Marketing and Cloud Computing,” Co-Founder of Great Learning, Hari Krishnan Nair, was quoted as saying by Indian Express.

As per the guidelines, the nominee should be a recent mother (birth certificate/hospital statement mandatory) with 60 per cent marks in X, XII, and graduation.
