IGNOU Postpones June Term-End Exams, VC To Address Students On FB Live

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Monday postponed the term-end examinations that were scheduled to be held from June 1.

The revised dates of the examinations will be announced after looking into the coronavirus situation in the country, the varsity said in its press release.

Moreover, Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU, Nageshwar Rao will be addressing the students on Wednesday (May 5) at 10 am through Facebook Live Session on the university’s official Facebook page- @OfficialPageIGNOU.

The university has also decided to give relaxation to students who will be evaluated for their project reports in some subjects.

“Project submission process has also been made online for which guidelines will be issued by the university separately. In respect of the programmes requiring fieldwork and collection of primary data, exploration and analysis of secondary research data would be allowed in lieu of fieldwork,” VC Nageshwar Rao informed the media.

Furthermore, the dates of submission of assignments, exam form, and re-admission have already been extended up to May 31.
