Bhubaneswar: Acting on the guidelines of the Union HRD Ministry, the Sainik School, Bhubaneswar has taken appropriate steps by conducting online classes. The step has been taken to ensure seamless learning for its cadets to pursue their CBSE courses for 2020-2021 academic session during the nationwide lockdown.
“All the cadets from Class-VII to XII are making the best use of the digital platform– “Extra Marks” made available for their CBSE curriculum as well as for the online coaching for the upcoming UPSC-NDA entrance examination for the Class-XII cadets. As the school is closed due to the lockdown, necessary arrangements have been made to provide textbook sets to all the cadets by Indian Postal Services,” Principal of Sainik School Group Captain S Dominic Rayan told the media.
He said that the school has also made arrangements to provide special coaching to passout students to qualify for the forthcoming UPSC-NDA entrance examination.
Vice-Principal of the school, Wing Commander Amitabh Ranjan has extended necessary support in executing all these academic activities.
The parents and members of the Old Boys Association (OBA) of the school have appreciated the school administration and teachers for their timely and proactive steps to carry out this online interactive and video-enabled remote learning activity.
