17 Teachers Test Positive For COVID-19 As Schools Set To Reopen In Pune

Pune: With the schools set to reopen in Pune, as many as 17 teachers and other teaching staff tested positive for COVID-19 in the city’s rural area, according to Pune Zila Parishad on Sunday.

A total of 5,671 tests were conducted in the rural areas of the city of which 17 tested positive, reported Hindustan Times report.

Pune Zilla Parishad said more teachers and teaching staff are expected to be tested for COVID-19 in the future.

Schools in rural areas of Pune are set to reopen from tomorrow following state government guidelines.
