New Delhi: A total of 93 students of a government nursing college in Uttarakhand’s Sursingh Dhar tested COVID-19 positive. The hostel of the college has been announced as a containment zone.
Samples were collected from 200 students, and some reports are awaited. As many as 65 students who tested negative for COVID-19 are being sent home.
However, 5084 cases were reported in Uttarakhand with 81 related deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of active cases has leaped to 33,330 and the toll stood at 2102, according to an official statement from the State Health Department.
