Ahmedabad: Schools for classes IX to XII and final year classes for college students will resume on November 23, announced Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, reported NDTV.
The educational institutions closed due to the pandemic, are to reopen only in strict adherence to the SOP issued by the Government of India.

Chudasama said that he held a meeting with department officials and stakeholders, via video conference, following Chief Minister (CM) Vijay Rupani’s direction for preparation of SOPs for reopening of state educational institutions.
He added that after the preparation of SOPs, “…CM Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, in consultation with education and health departments, will take a final decision on reopening schools and colleges.”
