JEE Main 2021: NTA Pulls Off Schedule; Education Minister To Announce Dates
New Delhi: Hours after the dates for JEE Main 2021 were announced, the National Testing Agency (NTA) retracted the notification with details of the schedule, exam patterns ets from the official website, reported NDTV.
A statement was issued by Education Ministry stating that no decision has been made on JEE Main dates yet. The now-withdrawn document had mentioned a changed exam pattern, conduction of the exam in 13 languages — in four sessions — with the first round from February 22 to 25.
As it has been removed, the information on the bulletin cannot be taken as official and final, excluding those details mentioned previously by Union education minister Ramesh Pokhariyal in webinars and interviews.
In a new tweet later in the day, the education minister stated that the JEE Main 2021 dates and number of attempts will be announced today at 6 pm.
Thanking people for their suggestions in a video message on his Twitter account, Pokhriyal said, “I will be announcing the schedule, number of times the exam will be held at 6 PM today. Stay tuned.”
