New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the date for UPSC Engineering Services Exam (ESE) Prelims 2022.
The UPSC will hold the Stage I examination on February 20. Candidates willing to appear for the ESE 2022 may check the timetable on the UPSC’s official site — upsc.gov.in.
The prelims will be held in two shifts — the first shift from 10 am to 12 noon and the second between 2 pm and 5 pm.
The first shift will be for general studies and engineering aptitude paper. The duration of the 200-mark paper will be 2 hours. The second shift will be for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecom Engineering. The exam duration will be for 3 hours for 300 marks.
The registration process kicked off on September 22 and closed on October 12, 2021. The recruitment drive is aimed at filling approximately 247 vacancies.
The number includes 8 vacancies for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (06 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy & 2 vacancies for Hard of Hearing).
