Bhubaneswar: Online applications have been invited by the Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha, for the recruitment of 11,403 initial appointee teachers in government-run high schools across the state.
The DSE, Odisha, has issued a formal notification enhancing the upper age limit of applicants to 38 years from 32 years.
According to the DSE’s corrigendum on January 23, applicants till the age of 38 years will be able to apply for the teachers’ posts. The raising of the age limit is expected to benefit many teaching job aspirants who are over 32 years but below 38.
The revised guidelines say, “A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above 38 years of age as on January 1, 2021, to be eligible to apply for the posts.”
