New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date to apply for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 examination.
The last date was November 23. Now, interested candidates who haven’t yet applied for the test can submit their forms up to November 27 on — ctet.nic.in.
The examination fee for candidates belonging to general or OBC NCL category, appearing in one paper, is Rs 1,000. For both papers, the fee is Rs 1,200.
For SC, ST candidates and differently-abled candidates, the fee is Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for two papers.
The 18th edition of CTET will be held on January 21. The CBSE has identified 135 cities where CTET exam centres will be arranged.
The exam, to be conducted in 20 languages, will be held online in computer-based test (CBT) mode in two shifts of 2-and-half hours each – 9.30 am to 12 noon, and 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
