UPSC CSE Mains 2024 From Sept 20; Check Time Table At upsc.gov.in.

Bengaluru:The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the schedule for the Civil Services Main Examination 2024, which will be held from September 20 to September 29.

The detailed timetable for the exam is available on the official website – upsc.gov.in.

Those candidates, who have qualified the UPSC CSE Prelims 2024, are eligible to appear for the UPSC CSE mains 2024.  The prelims exam was conducted on June 16 and subsequently, the result was declared on July 1.

According to the UPSC notification, a total of 14,627 candidates cleared the UPSC CSE prelims exam. For this year, the Commission aims to fill 1,056 vacancies, including 40 seats reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

• The UPSCCSE mains 2024 examination will begin on September 20 (Friday) with the essay paper. The timing for this exam will be 9 AM to 12 Noon.
• On September 21 (Saturday), candidates will appear for General Studies Paper-I in the morning session (9 AM to 12 Noon) and General Studies Paper-II in the afternoon (2.30 PM to 5.30 PM).
• On September 22 (Sunday), candidates will appear for General Studies Paper-III in the morning session (9 AM to 12 Noon) and General Studies Paper-IV in the afternoon (2.30 PM to 5.30 PM).
• Next weekend on September 28, the Indian language paper and the English paper, both qualifying, will be held in the morning and afternoon sessions, respectively.
• On September 29 (Sunday), candidates will appear for optional subject paper-I in the morning (9 AM to 12 Noon) and optional subject paper-II in the afternoon ( 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM).
