University of Auckland In New Zealand Announces $20,000 Scholarship For Indian Students
The University of Auckland has announced India High Achievers Scholarship for International students from India enrolling full-time in undergraduate degrees, PGDip or masters degrees
HYDERABAD: The University of Auckland in New Zealand has announced India High Achievers Scholarship for Indian students with up to $20,000 in tuition fees.
The scholarship is open for the 2025 intake, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate students the opportunity to study full-time University of Auckland at at Waipapa Taumata Rau.
In total, 30 scholarships will be awarded biannually, with the scholarship tenure lasting one year.
Eligibility criteria
- To qualify, applicants must be international students from India. This excludes citizens, permanent residents, or resident visa holders of New Zealand and Australia
- Eligible students include those with either a conditional or unconditional offer to enrol in undergraduate or postgraduate programmes
- Participants in the university’s English Language Academy (ELA) or Summer Start International programme are eligible
- Students who have previously studied in New Zealand or are enrolled in specific business master’s programmes are not eligible
- The students must hold a Grade Point Equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00 and be enrolled full-time in their respective programmes
Deadline
The last date for receiving applications is October 24, 2024, for Semester I and April 1, 2025, for Semester II.
Candidates will be selected by the university’s committee and notified eight weeks after the closing dates for applications.
Students should ensure their online applications are submitted before the deadline, including all required sections, references, or endorsements.
