Income Tax Department Invites Applications For Processing Assistant Posts, Check The Details

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has announced vacancies for the post of Processing Assistant Grade B in the Income Tax Department.

Interested candidates can apply through the department’s official website, https://incometaxindia.gov.in/Pages/default.aspx

Applications must be submitted within 30 days from the date of notification release. A total of eight posts will be filled through this recruitment process.

Eligibility criteria and age limit

Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications to be eligible:

Option A

• Master’s degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or MTech. in Computer Application
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Technology from a recognised university

Option B

• Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Minimum of two years’ experience in electronic data processing, including computer programming

Option C

• Master’s degree or Engineering degree from a recognised university
• Minimum of three years’ experience in electronic data processing, including computer programming

Option D

• ‘A’ Level Diploma under the Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) or Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications
• Minimum of three years’ experience in electronic data processing, including computer programming

The maximum age limit for applicants is 56 years, as stated in the official guidelines.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a salary under Level 7, ranging from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month, as per the 7th Pay Commission norms.
