NBEMS Cautions NEET PG Candidates Against Spoofed Notices, Social Media Contents
The candidates should rely on the official websites— natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in— and official WhatsApp channel for authentic information, says NBEMS
NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has cautioned the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 candidates against spoofed notices, emails, SMS, and social media contents being circulated in its name.
It said that the candidates should rely on the official websites of NBEMS— natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. It advised the candidates to refer to any information about examinations conducted by NBEMS only through these website links.
The NBEMS also mentioned abut whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbAseBd7T8bTcZS9mg20, its official WhatsApp channel, as a source of authentic information.
“There are no other official handles or channels of NBEMS on any social media platform,” a notification issued by the NBEMS said.

All the NBEMS notices issued from July 2020 onwards bear a QR code. Scanning the QR code will redirect the user to the said notice on the NBEMS website.
Unscrupulous agents or touts may attempt to mislead candidates by making false and fraudulent claims through spoofed notices, emails, SMS, or social media posts impersonating the NBEMS, with the intent of phishing or extracting sensitive information.
The NBEMS also advised the candidates not to be allured or misled by unscrupulous agents / touts making false and bogus claims of helping any candidate in any means by such spoofed emails / SMS or forged documents or social media.
“NBEMS does not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS,” the notice said.
If any email, SMS or message on social media is received or circulated in the name of NBEMS, candidates must cross verify the information from the official website of NBEMS.

In case any candidate is approached by any unscrupulous agents/touts promising any such undue favour/ promising to provide question papers for NBEMS examinations through any spoofed emails/SMS or telephone call or forged documents or personally or through social media, the same may be reported to NBEMS at email ID –[email protected] and report the local police.
