Registration Window For CMAT 2026 Opens, Check The Details

Candidates can apply through the official website at cmat.nta.nic.in by November 17

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun the registration process for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026. The candidates can apply through the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in.

The exam serves as a gateway for admission to management programmes for the academic session 2026–27.

The CMAT 2026 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode to assess candidates across five key areas: Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship, said a notification issued by the NTA.

CMAT 2026 schedule

  • Last date to submit applications is November 17, 2025
  • Deadline for fee payment is November 18, 2025
  • A correction window will be available from November 20 to November 21, 2025, allowing applicants to make necessary edits to their submitted forms.

How to apply for CMAT 2026 Registration

Step 1: Go to the official website, https://cmat.nta.nic.in/

Step 2: Click on the link ‘Registration for CMAT 2026’

Step 3: On the next window, click on ‘New Registration’

Step 4: Fill in the personal details, including name, address and education qualification

Step 5: Upload the required documents

Step 6: Pay the application fee

Step 7: Submit the application form

Application fees

  • Male candidates belonging to the unreserved category must pay an application fee of Rs 2,500.
  • Female, transgender, and reserved category candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 1,250.

The CMAT 2026 question paper will comprise questions from quantitative technique, logical reasoning, language comprehension and general awareness.

The question paper will also have an optional section – innovation and entrepreneurship. The CMAT score will be accepted by all AICTE-approved institutions, university departments, constituent colleges and affiliated colleges.
