Bihar Intermediate, Matric Exams To Be Held In February

The Class 10 BSEB exams will begin on February 17 and Class 12 will start on February 2.

NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the detailed date sheet for the annual Intermediate (Class 12), Matric (Class 10), DElEd, Vocational courses and various departmental examinations.

The calendar specifies exam dates, application periods, dummy card and admit card release timelines, as well as result declaration windows.

According to the BSEB Class 10 datesheet, the Madhyamik (Matric) Annual Examination 2026 will be held from February 17 to February 25.

The calendar also lists vocational and skill-based subjects for Class 10 students. The first shift will be held from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm (with 15 15-minute cool-off time), while the second shift will run from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

The Class 10 practical and internal assessments will be conducted in January 2026, ahead of the theory papers.

The Intermediate Annual Examination 2026 will be conducted from February 2 to February 13, 2026, in two shifts. The practical examinations for BSEB Class 12 students will also be conducted in January 2026.

Students are advised to download the official date sheet once it is available on the board’s website, https://secondary.biharboardonline.com/index.html. The timetable will include subject codes, examination timings, and other important instructions.

BSEB has outlined the complete workflow for the Intermediate 2027 cycle, starting with online registration and dummy registration cards in January 2026. Sent-up examinations, error-correction windows, admit card releases and result announcements will stretch across the year.

The calendar further includes timelines for the Matric and Intermediate compartmental examinations, special exams, and the publication of their results. Significant dates for the DElEd (2025–27 and 2026–28 batches) include online application periods in January and April 2026, dummy card issuance, admit card release, examinations from April to June 2026, and subsequent result declaration phases.

For state-run residential schools, the board has also issued the schedule for Class 6 and Class 11 admissions in 2026, beginning with online applications in April and May respectively, followed by exams, correction windows and merit list publication.
