NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit cards for the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) recruitment exams.

The examination is scheduled to be held between January 10 and 11, said an official notification.

Candidates who have registered for the KVS and NVS can download their hall tickets from the official website, kvsangathan.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.

This recruitment drive aims to help KVS fill 15,762 vacancies for teaching and non-teaching staff, including positions such as Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Librarian, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS).

The recruitment examination will be held in multiple shifts across the two days for various teaching and non-teaching posts. Other details like location and the exam venue, along with the shift, will be present on the admit card.

How to download KVS, NVS exam admit card 2025

Step 1: Visit the official website, kvsangathan.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the recruitment drive or admit card link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter the required details such as category, registration number, date of birth and security code.

Step 4: Submit the details to view the admit card on the screen.

Step 5: Check details including name, exam venue or state, exam date, shift timing and post applied for.

Step 6: Download the slip and take a printout for reference.

The Tier 1 examination will be conducted in two shifts each day, with each paper having a duration of two hours. The morning shift will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, while the afternoon shift is scheduled from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Exams on January 10

On January 10, 2026, the morning shift from 9:30 am to 11:30 am will be held for the posts of Primary Teacher, Junior Secretariat Assistant and Lab Attendant. The examination duration for this shift will be two hours.

On the same day, the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm will be conducted for Multi-Tasking Staff posts under the headquarters and regional office cadre.

Exams on January 11

On January 11, 2026, the morning shift scheduled from 9:30 am to 11:30 am will be held for Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal and Post Graduate Teacher posts. The afternoon shift on the same day, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, will cover Trained Graduate Teacher and miscellaneous teaching posts. This shift will also include Librarian, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Junior Translator, Assistant Engineer, Assistant Section Officer, Senior Secretariat Assistant, Stenographer Grade I and Stenographer Grade II posts.
