NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam To Be Held On June 21, Candidates To Get 15 Minutes Extra
CBI is investigating the matter and strict action will be taken against all individuals involved in any irregularities related to the examination, says Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the revised NEET UG 2026 re-exam will be conducted on June 21.
Candidates can expect admit cards to be released 4 to 5 days before the exam.
After an alleged NEET-UG paper leak that is being investigated in Rajasthan, the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 12 announced the cancellation of the NEET-UG exam held on May 3.

Meanwhile, Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan has addressed students and parents during a press conference regarding the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. He confirmed that the NEET UG 2026 re-exam will be conducted on June 21, while the admit cards are expected to be issued by June 14.
Assuring strict transparency in the examination process, the minister stated that “students’ future is our priority” and emphasized that the government will not compromise with unfair practices.
Pradhan also asserted that the candidates will be given extra 15 minutes in the NEET UG 2026 re-exam. “The future of students, sensitivity toward their hard work, is our priority,” he said.

The National Testing Agency, with the approval of the Government of India, has scheduled the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 on Sunday, 21 June 2026.

He further said that the CBI is actively investigating the matter and strict action will be taken against all individuals involved in any irregularities related to the examination.
Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from the official website using their application number and password.

The minister also appealed to candidates not to panic and rely only on official updates issued by the NTA and government authorities.
