NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has added 183 new MBBS and BDS seats to the NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 seat matrix, which was released on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The new seats have been added across medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra, Puducherry, Tripura, Uttarakhand, and the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.

Maharashtra has received the highest number of new seats among the States, with 115 seats added across one medical and one dental college.
Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Government Medical College, Ahilyanagar, has added 15 MBBS seats under the All India quota. These include four BC, one EW, seven OP, two SC and one ST seat.
In total, 100 BDS seats have also been added to the capacity of Datta Meghe Dental College, Hospital and Research Centre, Wanadongri, Nagpur. The seats fall under the deemed university category and self-financed merit seat quota, with all 100 seats listed under the OP category.
In Puducherry, 50 MBBS seats have been added at Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal. The college is listed under the deemed university category, with the seats available under the self-financed merit seat quota and OP category.
Tripura received eight new MBBS seats at Agartala Government Medical College, comprising two BC, one EW, three OP, one SC and one ST seat under the All India quota.
The NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 registration is underway. The MCC is scheduled to announce the Round 3 seat allotment result on September 30.
