NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is likely to declare the results of the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination held in September 2026 on November 6.

According to an official announcement, candidates need to enter their registration number along with their roll number to access their results.

How to check CA Foundation September 2026 Results
Step 1: Visit the official website, caresults.icai.org
Step 2: Select the link for CA Foundation September 2026 results.
Step 3: Enter the Registration Number and Roll Number in the designated fields.
Step 4: Submit the details to view the result.
Step 5: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.
Marking scheme
The CA Foundation examination comprises four papers, carrying 100 marks each, for a total of 400 marks.
The examination follows a combination of subjective and objective assessment. Papers 1 and 2 are descriptive in nature, while Papers 3 and 4 comprise objective-type questions.
Candidates should also take note of the negative marking provision. ICAI deducts 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer in the objective-type papers (Papers 3 and 4). There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
To qualify for the CA Foundation examination, candidates must secure at least 40 per cent marks in each of the four papers and a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent across all four papers.
This means candidates must obtain at least 40 marks out of 100 in every individual paper, along with an overall score of at least 200 out of 400.
