New Delhi: National Testing Agency(NTA) has announced the date on which admit cards for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) will be released. The examination is held for admissions into medical and engineering colleges across the country.
The examination conducting authority, in a notice, stated that the admit card would be released on the official site 15 days prior to the main exam. The JEE Main exams will be held from July 18 to July 23 while NEET will be held on July 26. Hence, JEE Mains admit card will be made available on the site in the first week of July and those for NEET in the second week.
For JEE Mains, about 9.21 lakh have registered so far. After the re-application window was opened by NTA, 10,000 more candidates had applied. Approximately 16 lakh students will be appearing for NEET in over 6,000 examination centres.
The results are expected to be announced within a month after the exam, considering that the session has already been delayed.
