New Delhi: Expressing happiness over the performance of government schools in Delhi in CBSE’s Class XII exams, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hailed the state’s education model for “scripting history”.
A whopping 98 per cent students in Delhi government schools have passed the exams, the results of which were declared on Monday.
“Amid the pandemic, I have good news for you. Delhi’s kids have done a wonderful job by achieving 98 per cent pass per cent in CBSE Class XII exams,” Kejriwal was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.
The CM added that he didn’t think the combined CBSE Class XII results of other states in the country could have ever matched “this figure in our history”.
Over 300 out of 916 government schools have reported 100 per cent pass results in CBSE Class XII exams this year.
