Ideas to solutions
The announcements reflect AICTE’s continued emphasis on strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem beyond the generation of ideas.
The focus is on creating an ambience to develop innovative concepts, test and potentially translate into solutions that create value for society.
The YUKTI and APF initiatives are particularly relevant to the objective of connecting innovation with practical applications and supporting innovators through the development process.
AICTE‘s Innovation Councils play a key role in creating an institutional ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship.
AICTE’s approval-process framework also recognises the establishment of an IIC as an important requirement for participating technical institutions.
Through initiatives such as IIC, YUKTI and APF, the AICTE promotes innovation activities involving students, faculty members, educational institutions and emerging innovators.
The recognition through the IIC 7.0 ratings and the latest YUKTI and APF results is expected to encourage more institutions and innovators to pursue research, entrepreneurship and technology-driven solutions.
AICTE Chairman Yogesh Singh congratulated the participating institutions, innovators, faculty members and students for their contributions towards India’s innovation ecosystem.
