All Entrance Exams Will Be Held After Lockdown: HRD Ministry

New Delhi: The Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Monday announced that entrance exams to different technical education courses will be held after the lockdown period.
However, fresh dates for the postponed exams have not been announced yet.

The HRD Minister appealed to the students, who are preparing for the entrance exams, to remain calm and to utilise the lockdown period in preparing for the exams.

He also informed that study material for the various entrance exams has been made available online.

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions also announced that it will be reviewing the dates for the UPSC exams, which require candidates to travel across the country.

Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (Tier I) 2019, Junior Engineers (Paper I) Examination 2019, Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2019, and Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2018 skill testing will be held after the lockdown.

The HRD Ministry also stated that students, appearing for the Class X and XII board exams, will be intimated 10 days before the exam is held.

Examinations across the country were cancelled due to the nationwide lockdown following the corona pandemic.
