AP Postal Circle Invites Online Applications For 2707 Vacancies

Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle of India Post has released a recruitment notification for 2707 posts. The job profile includes branch post master, assistant branch post master and Dak Sevaks.

Eligible candidates can apply through the official website on or before November 21, 2019.  Candidate registration, however, has to be done at indiapost.gov.in or appost.in/gdsonline, by November 14, 2019.

Eligibility: 

Age Limit – The minimum and maximum age limit for applying for the GDS, Post master posts is 18 to 40 years as on October 15, 2019. Permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are:

• SC/ST – 5 years

• OBC – 3 years

• EWS – No relaxation

Educational qualification: 10th pass with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects), conducted by any recognised Board of School Education. The candidates who have passed Class 10 examination in the first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those who have passed through the compartment. Knowledge of local language and basic computer is a must.

• Last date for registration and fee payment is November 14, 2019
• Last date for submission of online application is November 21, 2019.

Selection process:

The selection will be made as per the automatically generated merit list as per the rules, based on the candidates’ application submitted online. The candidates must follow the selection rounds.

Application fee:

• Gen/OBC/SBC/CC/Other State candidate – Rs 100

• Women/SC/ST – No Fees
