NIOS students’ eligibility
Meanwhile, the National Medical Commission (NMC), in response to an RTI query, has said that students of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) can appear for NEET UG 2025.
But if an NIOS student pursues an extra subject, it should be learnt from an authorised institution.
The clarification comes amid concerns over the NEET UG 2025 information bulletin, with NTA asserting that the official bulletin is in line with NMC rules.
