Application Process For JEE Advanced 2025 Begins, Check The Details

The admit cards for JEE Advanced 2025 will be available for download from May 11 to May 18 and the examinations is scheduled for May 18

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has commenced the application process for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2025.

Candidates who have cleared the JEE Main exam can complete their online registration on the official JEE Advanced 2025 website, jeeadv.ac.in

The last date to register for the examination is May 2. To finalise the registration, candidates need to pay the fee by May 5.

Application fee

The registration fee for candidates in the general category is Rs 3,200, while female candidates and those from the SC, ST, and PwD categories need to pay Rs 1,600. The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable once paid.

How to apply for JEE Advanced 2025

Step 1: Visit the official website jeeadv.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the registration link on the home page of the website

Step 3: Enter your details in the fields provided

Step 4: Pay the registration fees

Step 5: Click submit and download the confirmation page

Step 6: Take a printout for reference

The admit cards for JEE Advanced 2025 will be available for download from May 11 to May 18. These admit cards will contain the information such as candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, date of birth, correspondence address, and category.

JEE advanced schedule

  • Direct Online Registration for OCI/PIO(F) and foreign candidates begins:  April 07
  • Online Registration for JEE (Main) qualified candidates begins: April 23
  • Online Registration closes for all candidates: May 2
  • Last date for fee payment of candidates who have uploaded documents: May 5

The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode om May 18. It will consist of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2, each lasting three hours.

Candidates need to appear for both papers. Each paper will be divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

JEE (Advanced) is the gateway for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for undergraduate programmes, including Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree courses in Engineering, Sciences, and Architecture. IIT Kanpur is the organizing institute for JEE Advanced 2025.
