The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited applications from candidates for engagement as apprentices at the Paradip refinery.

The recruitment will be carried out to fill up 108 posts of trade apprentice, technician apprentice attendant operator, among others.

Eligible candidates have to apply by November 15, 2019.

  • Trade Apprentice/Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) – 18 posts
  • Trade Apprentice-Fitter (Mechanical) – 04 posts
  • Technician Apprentice (Chemical) – 40 posts
  • Technician Apprentice (Mechanical) – 06 posts
  • Technician Apprentice (Electrical) – 20 posts
  • Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation) – 07 posts
  • Trade Apprentice (Secretarial Assistant) – 03 posts
  • Trade Apprentice (Accountant) – 04 posts
  • Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator- Fresher Apprentice) – 03 posts.
  • Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator- Skill Certificate Holder) – 03 posts.

The duration of training for Trade Apprentice (Secretarial Assistant), Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator- Fresher Apprentice) and Trade Apprentice (Skill Certificate Holder) is 15 months. For the rest of the posts, the training period is of 12 months.

Educational Qualification: +2/Graduation/Diploma

Selection process: 

The candidates will have to sit for a written test. The exam shall comprise objective type multiple-choice questions. One has to secure a minimum of 40 per cent marks in the written test to qualify for the selection process.
