Army Institute of Fashion and Design, Bangalore (AIFD, Bangalore)
AIFD was established by the Army Welfare Education Society in 2004, to meet the needs of the wards and wives of Indian Army personnel. In 2020, a Hindustan Times survey awarded it the rank of the third-best college of Fashion and Designing in the country. The aim of the college is to inculcate technical and professional education in the field of fashion designing and fashion apparel.
Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune (SID)
It is one of the most renowned private fashion institutes in the country. Apart from excellent college amenities, it has a serene atmosphere on account of its location. The college offers both Masters and Bachelor’s degrees in Fashion Designing.
National Institute of Designing, Ahmedabad (NID, Ahmedabad)
NIFD is one of the most appreciated and recognised institutes in the field of designing and fashion. It is internationally acclaimed and one of the foremost multidisciplinary institutes. Business Week USA has listed NID as one among the top 25 European and Asian programmes in the world.
International Institute of Fashion Designing, Navi Mumbai
IIFD is considered to be one of the most prominent colleges of Fashion Design in Maharashtra. Set up in 2003, the institute also offers high standards of education and exceptional facilities to the students pursuing UG, PG and certificate courses.
