New Delhi: United Kingdom’s national broadcaster BBC is in search of trainees in digital journalism in India who will work with its Indian language teams for the production of textual and digital content.
Candidates will be trained in digital journalism in the three-month period for writing website content and other digital elements. The application deadline is October 6.
Aspirants need not have journalistic experience but have to qualify for journalism or related subjects. Candidates can apply to BBC and other media houses for jobs on completion of the training. However, the three-the training does not guarantee a job at the end of the contract.
Currently, the trainees will be working from home, but as the situation improves, they will have to spend the first two weeks in the Delhi Bureau. Candidates need to work in tight deadlines, maintaining standards.
Interested ones can send applications on the official website of BBC UK — careershub.bbc.co.uk.
