Bhubaneswar’s DSBM Joins Hands With Industrial Houses & College To Meet NEP Objectives

Bhubaneswar: DAV School of Business Management (DSBM) has signed MoUs with three industrial houses and a degree college with the prime purpose being to meet thrust objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The collaboration was formalized on Wednesday with RSB Transmission (I) Ltd, Wallet Finserve Pvt. Ltd, Amber Clothing Pvt. Ltd and D R Nayapalli College for the empowerment of students’ community.

Government of India and Government of Odisha have proposed corporate-academia interface and exchange of faculty and students programmes under the portal of higher education.

The various MoUs which were signed pertain to academic research projects, market surveys, knowledge-sharing sessions, etc. in areas of commerce, finance, management, accounting, analytical skills and life skills for the benefit of students.

RSB Global Vice Chairman & Managing Director SK Behera suggested that B.Com and BBA students should participate in industrial visits and attend customized training sessions in corporate houses.

Wallet Finserve Pvt. Ltd Director & Co-Founder Trinath Lenka spoke about emerging financial career opportunities for commerce students and assured that relevant and customized training sessions will be organized which will augment employability skills of DSBM students.

Amber Clothing Pvt. Ltd Director Manik Chand Maheshwari announced that his organization will be the partner for different educational projects and market surveys to be organized by students for community and neighbourhood building.

D R Nayapalli College Principal Dr Ghadei suggested that various faculty exchange programmes in commerce stream be conducted according to the requirement of market forces.

DSBM Principal Dr D N Mishra expressed confidence that the MoUs will result in a win-win situation with the collaborative efforts of DSBM and knowledge-sharing partners.
