BHU’s Research Entrance Tests For Law & HRDE Postponed

Varanasi: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has decided to postpone the research entrance tests (RET) for Law and Human Rights and Duties Education (HRDE) scheduled for April 18.

An official statement on the university’s website said the new dates for RET Law and RET HRDE exams will be declared later.

RET is conducted by BHU for admission to PhD programmes, integrated MPhil-PhD and MPhil courses in computer-based mode across the country.

The test is held in two parts. Part A includes 100 MCQs of 3 marks each based on logical and analytical capability. Students are provided two hours to solve the paper. For each incorrect answer, it will mean a deduction of one mark.

Part B will be a 100-mark paper, where students need to write a one-page research proposal, followed by a personal interview.
