Bhubaneswar: Birla Global University has successfully placed its MBA students with an average CTC of Rs 8.45 lakh, with the highest being Rs 22 lakh despite the COVID-19 pandemic gloom.
Most of the students got jobs in top-notch companies like Tata, Godrej, ITC, SBI, Zee, Reliance, Ad Factor etc during its campus placement drive, according to a media release.
A few students even bagged overseas jobs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Several undergraduate students were also got placements in a US-based company for their Indian arm.
The students of Journalism & Mass Communication got placed in top-rated Media & PR houses with an average salary of Rs 5.40 lakh. The University saw major companies belonging to Financial Services, FMCG, Investment, Banking, IT, Consultancies etc taking part in the placement drive.
