After completing school, Aishwarya moved to Bhubaneswar for higher education. She earned a postgraduate degree in Public Administration and later studied English Journalism at the prestigious Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).

In 2010, Aishwarya cleared the Odisha Financial Service examination and began working as a Commercial Tax Officer. Her professional journey marked the start of a career dedicated to governance and administration.

April 2014 became a turning point when Aishwarya publicly embraced her identity, choosing to wear sarees and live authentically. While the decision drew questions and reactions, she stood firm. Her courage brought visibility to transgender representation in government service.
