BSE Odisha Releases Single Subject Exam, Half Yearly Language Test In Odia Instructions

Bhubaneswar: The instructions for the Single Subject (Class X) Examination in Odia and Half Yearly (Class VIII) Language Test in Odia 2022 have been released by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.

The board will conduct the Single Subject (Class-X) Examination in Odia and Half Yearly (Class-8) Language Test in Odia via its Zonal Offices in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Berhampur, Jeypore and Sambalpur.

The BSE Odisha has said via a notice that the Single Subject Examination and Half Yearly Language Test pass certificates are considered separate additional qualification to fulfil a candidate’s language knowledge requirement.

“The pass mark obtained in Single Subject Examination by a candidate should not be replaced with the First Language mark, he/she has obtained in his/her H.S.C. or Secondary(Class-X) passed out Examination. The candidates desirous of appearing Single Subject (Class–X Standard) Examination can appear in Odia language only,” the notice from BSE Odisha read.
