BSE Odisha Shares Details Of Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test

Bhubaneswar: All preparations have been made by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha for the smooth conduct of the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021 Phase 2 examination commencing on Wednesday.

According to the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president, Ramashis Hazra, the Board has made adequate arrangements for the conduct of the OSSTET exam being taken by over 72000 students.

“The OSSTET exam will be conducted in 338 centres and 40 nodal centres have been set up for the same. The exam will be held in 2 sittings – 1st sitting from 9 am to 11:30 am and 2nd sitting from 1 pm to 3:30 pm,” Hazra informed.

Out of a total of 72,280 candidates, as many as 68,742 candidates are slated to appear for paper 1 (first sitting) and 3538 candidates in paper II (second sitting), said the BSE official.

The board president said that all districts of Odisha have exam centres and squads have been formed by the DEOs and the Board. As many as eight special squads have been set up for the exam.
