BSF Releases Notification For Recruitment Of 3588 Constable Tradesman Posts

NEW DELHI: The Border Security Force (BSF) has released a short recruitment notice for the post of Constable Tradesman. Applicants can register through the official BSF website, bsf.gov.in, once the application process begins.

This recruitment drive is open to both male and female candidates. As per the announcement, the recruitment drive aims to fill 3,588 posts across trades including cobbler, tailor, carpenter, electrician, plumber, painter, and others.

According to the brief notification published in the Employment Newspaper, of the 3,588 posts available, 3,406 vacancies are for male candidates while the rest 182 for female candidates.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years as of the closing date of the application.

Age relaxations will be provided to SC/ST/OBC and other special categories as per the guidelines issued by the Central Government.

For Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, and Upholster

Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognised board

Two-year ITI certificate in the relevant or similar trade; or

One-year ITI or government-recognised vocational training certificate with at least one year of experience in the trade

For Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Khoji/Syce:

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board

Proficiency in the relevant trade

Must clear a trade test conducted by the recruitment board
