BYJU’s Collaborates With NSDC For Skill Development Of Teachers And Trainers
New Delhi: BYJU’s has entered into an agreement with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to provide digital tools and key skills for teachers and trainers.
The NSDC will receive free licenses to BYJU’s educational content (scholastic and non-scholastic), which along with the NSDC ecosystem, will ensure quality education for teachers and students.
NSDC’s digital initiative ‘eskill India’ will function with BYJU’s to help NSDC stakeholders make use of the latter’s resources to enhance awareness and adoption of its digital tools, reported Business Insider India.
BYJU’s Founder and CEO Byju Raveendran was upbeat about the collaboration. “This association will further the Digital India vision and boost online learning that has become an integral part of mainstream learning now.”
Echoing the sentiment, NSDC MD & CEO Manish Kumar said that with the skill development ecosystem’s evolution to a blended model, the association will be beneficial for “professional development of trainers that support powerful teaching and learning.”
