Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Application Window Opens, Check Direct Link To Apply

NEW DELHI: Canara Bank has commenced the online application process for Graduate Apprentice posts for the 2026-27 financial year.

The drive aims to hire 3,500 apprentices. Eligible graduates can submit applications forms through the official online portal www.canarabank.bank.in from October 1. The application deadline is October 17, 2026.

Eligible candidates need to register on apprenticeship portal nats.education.gov.in before applying for apprenticeship training in the bank.

Candidate with 100% complete profile on the apprenticeship portal only are eligible to apply. No other means of application will be accepted, said an official notification.

Candidates should check the eligibility requirements, application fee and other details before submitting the form.

The apprenticeship will provide selected candidates with practical training and a monthly stipend during the training period, said the notification.

Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 20 and 28 years as on September 1, 2026.

Date of Birth: Candidates must have been born between September 2, 1998 and September 1, 2006, both dates inclusive.

Graduation Period: Candidates must have completed their graduation between January 1, 2023 and September 1, 2026.

Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Stipend

The selected candidates will undergo 12 months of apprenticeship training.

They will get a monthly stipend of Rs 16,650, including the applicable government subsidy.

Canara Bank will credit Rs 10,500 directly to the apprentice’s account, while the government’s share of Rs 6,150 will be credited through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Candidates can opt for training seats in only one state under this project.

They will be given an option to furnish their order of preference for all the districts in the selected state.

However, allotment will be need based and subject to availability of training seats in respective districts. The bank reserves the right to allot training seat in any district of Selected State as per administrative requirement, the notification said.
