CAT admit cards can be downloaded from today onwards

Notwithstanding the rise in the number of female candidates who have registered for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019, data reveals that they comprise only 34.14 per cent of the total candidates.

According to the data released by IIM Kozhikode, which is conducting CAT this year, 85,810 female candidates have registered for the exam, a six-year high. However, the number is lower than the target of the IIMs for gender balance on campuses.

Overall, the number of applicants for this year’s CAT examination is 3000 more than last year at 2,44,169 candidates.
