CAT 2024 Aspirants Can Download Their Admit Cards From November 5
The link for downloading the admit cards will remain active until November 24, 2024, says a notice issued by the IIM, Calcutta.
HYDERABAD: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta will release admit cards for the Common Admission Test (CAT)-2024 on November 5, 2024. The IIM, Calcutta is conducting the CAT 2024.
The candidates who have registered themselves for the CAT 2024 can download their admit cards by visiting the official portal iimcat.ac.in once they are uploaded.

The CAT 2024 is conducted for admissions to postgraduate, fellowship, and doctoral programs at IIMs and many other top business schools in India.
The exam consists of three sections— Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Verbal and Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude. This year’s CAT paper will include both multiple-choice (MCQ) and type-in-the-answer (TITA) questions, with a maximum score of 198.
The CAT scores are accepted by 21 IIMs and over 1,000 other MBA institutes across the country, including as FMS Delhi, SJMSoM IIT Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, DoMS IIT Delhi, and SPJIMR Mumbai.
How to download CAT 2024 Admit Card
Step 1: Visit the official CAT website iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link for the CAT 2024 admit card
Step 3: Enter login details
Step 4: CAT 2024 admit card will appear on the screen
Step 5: Review the details on admit card
Step 6: Download and take a printout for reference
The admit cards will display information such as candidate’s name, application number, date of birth, category, PwD status (if applicable), emergency contact number, exam date, slot and time, reporting time at exam centre, Google Map link for the exam centre, exam centre address, space for photograph and signature.
Around 3.28 lakh candidates registered for CAT in 2023, of which 2.88 lakh appeared for the exam. The MBA exam registrations has increased significantly in India, with the same for CAT up by 30%, SNAP by 25%, and MAT by 18% from the previous year.
The CAT will be conducted in 170 cities this year. Candidates will be given the option to select any five test cities in order of their preference.
