CBSE Board 2025 Exams: Registration For Classes 9, 11 Begins From September 18

Bengaluru: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the registration process for students of Class 9 and Class 11 appearing in the 2025 board exams from September 18.

The last date to submit the registration form for the students of Class 9 and Class 11 without a late fee is October 16, the central body said in a notification.

CBSE-affiliated schools can get their students registered on cbse.gov.in.

Notably, only those students will be allowed to appear in classes 10, 12 board examinations in the 2025-26 session, whose names and details would be submitted by respective schools. However, before schools begin this process, students must also register themselves on the portal.

In this regard, the board has directed the principals and schools to fill in the names of the candidate, mother and father or guardian, names of subjects and all other information for the registration process.

According to the CBSE notification, many organisations and state governments award scholarships on the basis of the financial status of the students.

Information about the annual income of the parents may be collected as given by them, CBSE said adding that schools should not demand ITR or other income proof from parents.
