CBSE Board Exams 2025 Admit Card Released

Students can download their admit card from the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in.

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the admit cards for Class 10 and 12 board theory exams. The schools authorities can download admit cards from the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE board exams 2025 will begin on February 15. The dates of competitive exams such as JEE Mains and NEET have been considered while finalising the timetable this year.

This year, the CBSE has released the date sheet 86 days prior to the examination. As per the schedule, CBSE secondary school (class 10) examinations will commence on February 15 and will end on March 18, 2025. The CBSE senior school exam (class 12) will start on February 15, and end on April 4, 2025.

How to download CBSE Board Exams 2025 admit card

Step 1: Visit the official website at cbse.gov.in.

Step 2:  Click on ‘Pariksha Sangam’

Step 3:  Click on Continue

Step 4: Click on school (Ganga)

Step 5: Click on pre-exam activities

Step 6: Open the ‘admit card and create the material’ link for the main exam 2025

Step 7:  Fill details of user id and password download admit card

Step 8: Take a printout of admit card for reference.

Meanwhile, the CBSE has implemented several changes to enhance the examination process for students. Among the key modifications is the reduction in short and long response-type questions, which is aimed at fostering a stronger emphasis on analytical and critical thinking.

The weightage of internal assessments has been increased, now accounting for 40% of the total marks, while the remaining 60% will be based on the board exams.

Another important change is the introduction of a mandatory 75% attendance requirement for students, with provisions for exceptions in cases of illness, participation in extracurricular activities, or other valid reasons.

To ensure a higher level of security and transparency during the exams, the CBSE has mandated the installation of CCTV cameras in all examination halls.
