CBSE Board Exams: Education Minister To Announce Dates Today

New Delhi: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will close 2020 by announcing the CBSE Board examination dates for 2021 on Thursday.

Pokhriyal will announce the dates on his official Twitter page during a live session at 6 pm. After the live session, a detailed date sheet for the same will soon be released by CBSE on its official website: cbse.nic.in, India Today reported.

“Dear students & parents! I will announce the date of commencement for #CBSE board exams 2021 today at 6 PM.,” the minister tweeted on Thursday.

Steps To Check Datesheet

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE: cbse.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘CBSE Board Exam 2021 date sheet for Classes 10 and 12 (once released)

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Select ‘Class 10’ or ‘Class 12’ as per your preference.

Step 5: Your CBSE Board Exam 2021 datesheet will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Download it and take a printout for future reference.

Sample Papers

The Central Board of Secondary Education has also released the sample papers for class 10 and 12 board exams 2021 along with the subject wise marking schemes on its official website: cbseacademic.nic.in.

Syllabus Reduction

CBSE has also reduced the syllabus for each subject by 30 per cent to help students cope with the academic stress amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper pattern of the board exams will be based on the reduced syllabus. Students can also check the revised syllabus of the exam on the official website of CBSE.
