Bengaluru: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the supplementary results for Class 10 examination this week, reports said.

Students, who appeared for the CBSE supplementary examination this year, can check their results from these websites: results.digilocker.gov.in or cbse.gov.in.

The Class 10 CBSE supplementary exam 2024 was held on July 22. Both CBSE Class 10 and 12 supplementary examination were held as per the syllabus for the academic session 2023-24. Notably, the CBSE has already released the results for Class 12 on August 2. The overall pass percentage of CBSE Class 12 exam stood at 29.78%.

The results of CBSE Class 10 examination hold importance as it will enable the passing out students to join various colleges or technical education courses like diplomas.

How to Check CBSE Class 10 Supplementary Result 2024:

Step 1: Candidates should go to the website – results.digilocker.gov.in.

Step 2: Fill in the details like roll number, date of birth along with the given captcha

Step 3: After submission, the scorecard will be shown on the screen

Step 4: Candidates can download the results for future reference

The results for class 10 and 12 regular examinations were announced on May 13 by CBSE. In This year 21,65,805 students appeared for class 10 board exams, out of which 20,16,779 passed the examination. The pass percentage in current year was at 93.12 per cent, which is 0.48 per cent higher than last year.

Like last year, this year also girls outshined boys in terms of overall pass percentage. In Class 10, the overall pass percentage of girls was 94.75 per cent, which it was 92.71 per cent for boys.

For 2023-24, the board revamped the assessment pattern by introducing more competency-based questions and reducing the weightage given to short- and long-answer questions, as part of the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
