New Delhi: Class X and XII students who cannot appear for the practical exams after testing positive for COVID-19 will get another opportunity to attempt the exam before June 11, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on Thursday.
The CBSE has advised schools to reconduct practical exams for COVID-19 infected students at an appropriate time.
“If any candidate is absent in practical exam because of being COVID positive or any family member tests positive, school will conduct practical examination for such candidates at an appropriate time in consultation with regional authority by June 11,” CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
The Board exams for both classes are slated to be held in May-June while the practical examinations are scheduled for March-April.
According to the latest CBSE circular, if any candidate has shifted to some other city/country because of COVID-19 and requested CBSE to change the practical centre, while uploading the marks of the batch of the candidate, against the name of such candidates “T” may be uploaded/posted on the link for uploading of marks.
