CBSE Extends Date For Schools To Submit Marks For Class X Result

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to extend dates for the tabulation of marks for the Class X board exam 2021. According to the latest schedule, result committees can submit marks to CBSE till June 30.

Class X students will be marked out of 100 for each subject. Out of this, internal assessment carries 20 marks while 80 marks will be for various exams conducted throughout the year.

It may be recalled that CBSE had cancelled the board exams for the Class X students while exams for Class XII students were postponed with a final decision expected in the first week of June 2021 following a review of the situation.

The board has asked schools to set up result committees comprising the principal and seven teachers for finalising the Class X results.
